Here is one with Noise Reduction(Sorry I didn't catch that when editing): https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/enamelsandcameos_01_gautier_128kb.mp3 (1:02)

When I was recording this, there was a problem with my mic(the problem was too much static), so that explains the noise. I got the noise profile of the last five seconds and reduced it by 10dB.

If this isn't better, I would be happy to re-record if that's fine with you. :D
Hi shriya, the noisecleaning note was for section 32. Section 1 has a note for the intro. Thank you!

You are welcome to read those sections. I have signed you up, your personal catalog page is here https://librivox.org/reader/15170

Please also complete the one minute test before getting started! This is not an audition but just a way for us to make sure that your technical settings are in order. Please dont post your test here but in listeners wanted :) thank you!

Could I please claim section 5, ‘A study of Hands’?

(I hope I haven’t been banned as am fairly sure I claimed and completely forgot about pieces last year/earlier this year due to RL issues. I’m reliable now! )

Thank you! Nothing to worry about if real life takes over sometimes. It is best to log in a moment just to relinquish your claim, but it happens to many of us that we forget about a claim when something else hits us

Hi from JBev!

May I record Section 14, parts I and II, "Nostalgia of the Obelisks" -- I downloaded a digital copy of those two sections from the Gutenberg source.

These will be my first two short recordings :) ; No need to state my name as reader, if okay.

Q1: Do I state "by Theophile Gautier and translated to English by Agnes Lee" ?

Q2: Does each poem need the section title first, then "[part x, title]" on the recording ?

Love these two poems, hope I'm accepted to give them a try!
