Hello, may I claim Philema? That's section 18. Also, in the Magic Window it says I would have to read the chorus - where do I find that in the script?

Hi Leanne!

Brilliant, thank you so much!!

The Chorus/voices bit is in Act 5 Scene 3. Philema should be in that scene anyway so when you get there, also read the bit marked voices and chorus :D

Ah okay, so the bits marked 'all' and also voice 1. Got it!

One more thing: for the line 'Is [or] untroubled or by peace refin’d.' - do I read the 'or' in brackets?

Hi Leanne, where in the text is this round about? If you can't find it, record that particular line twice, one with the [or] and one without and when I'm editing and can see the context of the line, I should know then and I'll just delete the version I don't use :D

It's in Act 5 Scene III.

Just checked and yes, all words in brackets eg [or] are to be recorded. It shows where a word has been changed from the original manuscript due to spelling mistakes by Ford himself. He really needed a better proof reader!!

Penthea Act 4 is being uploaded. Gosh I forgot what a truely tragic (read as "depressing") character she is

All of Penthea is now ready to PL :)

Here's Phulas:

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/brokenheart_phulas_2.mp3 - It's 02:22 in length.

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/brokenheart_phulas_4.mp3 - It's 00:27 in length. The MW says Act 1, but I think it's supposed to be Act 4.

PL Notes for Penthea

Act 2 - long gap of 2 seconds at 0:34
long gap of 1 second at 3:10

Act 3 - repetition at 1:14
stumble at 2:54
like 10 seconds of silence at 3:30 can be trimmed
repetition at 4:35
stutter at 5:10
5:15+ - I've butchered that entire speech. Shall redo. Like all of this bit

Hi Charlotte

I'm gonna start on Calantha soon and I have a question. This 'a that so often appears, that means "he" I suppose, from the context. Can I read this modern "he" ? I always stumble over the "a", or how do we read this, simply a or ee (without h ?)
