Good to have another option -

Since I'm at work, I copy/pasted into Word, which does a decent word count. So does google docs, which is what I use at home.

Ah ha. When I used Firefox there was a add-on that did it but in Chrome I have now found an add on that does the same thing, called Word Count I think. But it has to be in browser window to work. I am finding that Chrome has all of my normally used tools, like Insert Text which does the same thing as My Words in Firefox. Thanks for the suggestions.

Could I claim Chapter 2? This seems interesting so I'd like to see how it reads aloud.

Chapter 2 is finally done!

Some of these older works don't seem to flow well in my mind when I read them aloud. Hopefully this doesn't sound too bad.

Thank you. I will put it into the magic window for proof listening. :D

Kim,
As part of the data migration, we are now bringing active projects up to date. Phil has had some computer issues, so I am helping him out. I put in a marker in the thread so he would know when he logs back in that this project is done up to date to my marker.

FYI, Google Books isn't allowing me access to this work. I suspect it's blocking other countries as well. Is this the same text? http://archive.org/details/tituscomradeofcr00kingiala

If so, you might want to consider switching, or if it's the same, offering it as an alternative source. :)

Hi Savannah and welcome to LibriVox and this project. Have you done your 1 minute test yet? Here is a link to our http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording newbie Guide to Recording. If you have done it and received an OK, let me know, but if not, you should do it before recording anything to be sure your technical specs are OK.
Here is a video Making your 1 minute test and script that may help.

As I said, welcome and if you have done it or not, you are welcome to claim chapter 3. Please ask questions and let me know if we can help in any way.
