I'd like chapter 13, if that's all right.

I've been practicing reading Chapter 19, and would like to sign up to read it (my first one with LibriVox). I've introduced myself in the appropriate forum and am looking forward to being a part of this fabulous project! Can't wait to hear the whole thing.

Chapter 19 is yours, nocturna!

One hint which we really MUST mention in the recording notes is to please listen back to your recording through headphones when you're done, to check for appropriate volume (should be nice and loud) and peculiar background hum, or whatever. (gonna go add that tip right now, as a matter of fact)

Have fun reading and do let us know if you have any questions!

I have just learned about LibriVox and would like to start volunteering.

If I can get all things computer in gear I would like to read Chapter 14 of Northanger Abbey as a start.

Let me know if that might be a good first step.

Hello acrobatty - Thanks for volunteering! Just to let you know that kayray, who coordinates this book, is off sick at the moment but expected back any minute - so don't worry if you don't get an immediate response; you will get one very soon! :) In the meantime, if you have any questions, please just ask.

Hi,

My name is Leo and I'd like to read a chapter of Northanger Abbey. I've introduced myself on the new readers forum - and there's a link to sample of my voice if anyone would like to hear me.

If it's OK, I'd like to read chapter 31, which I think is unclaimed as yet. It's relatively short and doesn't have any dialogue in it. I'm not sure I'm ready for dialogue, yet.

Many thanks,

-leo[/b]

Hello! I run the Hebrew equivalent of Project Gutenberg (called Project Ben-Yehuda), and I love classics and English literature as well. Can I have NA's chapter 20?

Thanks in advance.

I would like to take on Chapter 15 of Northanger Abbey as my first contribution to a book here if I could.
