OK, Kara, I assume you meant you got 33. I just finished 35, so I will delete 33 and post 35 once its done writing and loading (I had edited my post as I had just finished 34 when you grabbed 33). I seem to be picking up speed at this.

Guess I gotta find something else to record - I have begun using the Chip Doc method of only taking one file at a time, finishing it, then moving on to the next one! Works better for me.

Mine were done by midnight last night, but I didn't need to post them to myself, so didn't mention it here. So let's call it a draw :)

One more obstacle now prevents us from completing this entirely, and me handing on the torch to Kara -- going through to get the cataloguing data, I now find that for some reason one set of chapters won't play for me. I don't know at what point they have got corrupted (and I've had a lot of computer trouble recently), but I have asked the person who recorded them (Hugh) whether they he still has a copy.

We're getting there!

I will zip up the whole lot of the ones I have, and Yousendit in one file to Kara.

So it should save considerable upload time for you if you don't include those in your zip. If you're doing anything special to the id3 tags, I will copy your format.

Ooo thanks, Brad, that yousendit page was broken for a couple of days but it's working again now! I've updated my list o' collected chapters. I'm glad _someone_ is paying attention ;-)

Yes, just have that Hugh kid send me his chapters if he still has them...

Oh dear, that will take ages. OK, I'll start. Slowly but surely. I'm not sure I've done anything with ID3 tags -- I've just left them as they were when they came in.

Kara: Yousendit has been a nightmare and hasn't worked for a single file sent through it, whether it's a 200MB zip file or an individual MP3.

So I've given up on that idea, and tried to use a paid-for service in Storegate, which has seemed a little more reliable. It should now have sent you a link for the zip file.

However, since it's something I haven't used before, it may well have wrinkles of its own...
