I had to read this one THREE times due to microphone malfunction. Third time's the charm, I hope...
I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this book. I'd be delighted to take yet another section!

And doubleplusgood delighted that you wish to take another part.
Feel free to latch on to number 12.
Thanks you, Jim, I'd be glad to take #12!
I hope my American and/or faulty pronunciations do not make you weep and Macaulay roll in his grave ;-)

I was looking at the list and noticed that I still hadn't read Chapter 8. I popped it up on the screen and it looked somehow familiar...
Well I HAVE read it! I've even got it edited and sitting on the chip which rides to work with me. I just forgot to upload the thing... sigh

I wonder if I could claim
"Chapter 1 -part 13"
if there are no other takers?

Part 13 is yours.
I'm looking forward to hearing Macaulay read with a Kiwi accent.
It'll be intriguing.
Enjoy
Jim
By the way Jim, you posted Chapter 2; could you please post Chapter 5? I see it's marked as DONE so it's probably sitting conveniently handy...
I'm anxious to listen!

Oh dear!ChipDoc wrote: Looks like I should get to work cutting up Chapter 2 into chunks.
Hope you haven't started this.
I've already chopped up chapter 2.
Can you take a look, see if you think the chunks are ok for recording?

Started it? Heck, I've already finished it...
Just use your version. Let me make a recommendation though. Stick to the same naming convention for both the text pieces and the mp3 files. It makes it a lot easier in the long run. In my version (I got 11 chunks in my version) I set them up like the same way we're naming the files in the first Chapter:
historyofengland01ch02_07_macaulay.txt

Have changed their file names.
I suppose, there's nothing stopping me starting a new thread to do the next chapter.
So, I shall.
I'll move this thread over to "Readers Found"!
