Often in ancient Italian "J" and "I" were the same sound. But this is just an opinion of mine, it's not that it changes the meaning of the text. So if you prefer to leave like you did, no worries;

Corrected, but the time stamp here must be a typo. Also added the proper close.

So do these latest PL OK'd files still need to be integrated in with the Italian ones? Is that the plan?

Yes, and then given a quick PL. In this case, it's just to ensure the transition is correct. Not hard to foul up, but it will be me doing the joinery, so I'll need a second look!
