Some convoluted sentences, but also some very quotable ones.
Hard to quote sentences when I am still scratching my head trying to figure out what they mean.
At 4:57, "It would have to be done some day, but he shrunk from it." I am hearing, "It would have to be done some day, but she shrunk from it."
At 18:45 the text reads, "To experiences doubtful to the soul," but I am hearing, "To experiences dreadful to the soul."

Thanks for the good PL
The above corrections have been made:
Chapter 34: very nicely read! Only one PL note - the volume is at 92.4 dB, which is higher than the LibriVox accepted range of 86-92. Could you deamplify the recording and re-upload? If you are unfamiliar with how to deamplify, there is a page on the wiki that explains how to do this in Audacity.
Chapters 46 and 47 have a volume that is below the range and will require some amplification.
If easier for you in the future to avoid these notes, you can check the volume yourself by downloading checker and using it to analyze each of your MP3 files.
Other than the volume notes, you have a very nice reading style, and I enjoyed listening to these chapters and your different voices for all the characters! I'm sorry I've been so slow to PL for you; I should be able to listen to the rest of your chapters on Sunday.
Thanks for the feedback! Below are all the updated versions. I'm having a hard time downloading and installing checker so I'm hoping to get that on a different computer and check. Please let me know if these do not meet the volume requirements and I will find a way to make the adjustments this week.

Thank you! I remember it being a bit tricky to download Checker initially too. If I remember correctly, I had to try a couple versions before one worked on my PC. Hope you can get it to work too, as it is so helpful and easy to use!

Thanks, I will try to check them soon but wanted to pop in really quickly to say that if you are having trouble with checker, you could alternatively install replay gain as an audacity plug-in (if you use audacity). Here is the wiki page with instructions.

Thanks, Chapters 34, 46, 47, and 50 are all PL okay. Chapter 53 still has the same super minor wording differences, but the file passes checker validation and I wonder if Hannah wants to pass on the picky comments I had. (just let us know, Hannah!)

Since this project is only Standard PL (not word-perfect following along with the text), I am fine with those minor mis-speaks in 53. They are the type many listeners may not even catch... and our brains can easily fix.
