Still here! Editing the rest of this one-act play, and then I think I'll be able to start recording again.

I was skimming through the solo projects and saw that this didn't have a DPL. I'd be happy to do that if there's still a need.

Yes, that would be great. Perhaps I’ll get more recorded when I know there’s someone waiting.

Thanks, Jazbees and Lynne.
I've actually recorded the next part, so let's see if I can get it edited and uploaded in the next week.

Ugh. Just kidding. It recorded through my built-in mic instead of my Blue Yeti.
Well, at least I have practice for the next recording session.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Here's hoping the re-do will go smoothly!stepheather wrote: ↑October 13th, 2023, 9:09 am Ugh. Just kidding. It recorded through my built-in mic instead of my Blue Yeti.

Still working on the edits, but hopefully a section will be up soon. (It's recorded with the right mic. Hooray!)

Wonderful! Very good read of this section!

I caught a few word exchanges, but they didn't affect the meaning. There are, though, a couple things that should be addressed:
- 8:20 (book page 30) - There's a strangely long pause after "had the chills" before the next sentence starts. It should definitely be shortened as it's in the middle of a paragraph and breaks the flow.
- 10:15 (book page 31) - The quote, "Poor little girl, it is too bad" appears twice in the largest paragraph. I think the repetition threw you off, though, because the sentence between the two instances—starting with "It was said so often..."—is missing. Not sure if it was accidentally edited out or just never spoken, but either way it should be addressed.

Phooey. They did not get recorded (I see there were some long breaks for traffic sounds around those lines, so I think I lost my place...and I know I took a several-weeks-long break in editing about 6 seconds before that, sooo...). I'm now sick AGAIN and would sound like the teacher from Charlie Brown, so I'll wait to make the edits. Hopefully my sinuses will clear up soon...and then I can record. In the meantime, it's off to do some of my own DPLing since that doesn't require my voice!Jazbees wrote: ↑December 28th, 2023, 10:26 pm Wonderful! Very good read of this section!
