Hi!
I'm new to Librivox but keen to help out and I have a little experience with some podcasting (which you can find at www.njcs.org).
Assuming they are still available I would like to take the following sections:
10 Oppression by Optimism
11 The Homelessness of Jones
I look forward to hearing from you.

Here's section 5 - running time is 12:06.

I'd like to do some more, but could I get some feedback/criticism on the sections I've done - i.e. advice, things I could do differently, etc? Thanks, I'm just not too sure how my reading is at the moment.

Thanks Jordan.
I don't have time to listen right now, sorry, but no doubt I or someone else will do in the near future.
You could hurry things along by posting in the Listeners Wanted forum, if you wanted.
Cheers,
Carl.

OK, Section 10 has been uploaded and can be found at:
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/cm/Whatswrong_10_chesterton.mp3
Since this is my first time any advice would be greatly appreciated - too slow, too close to the mic, noise reduction (I didn't do this as it sounded OK to me) etc.
Thanks!

Thanks Barry.
I'll have a listen to your file when I get chance, but you could also post in "listeners wanted".
How long is the recording, by the way?
Cheers,
Carl.

I'm a newbie, but I'd like to take sections 12-15. I'm assuming I should read from the Gutenberg file listed in the original post since there are no "text links" available in the magic window. If this is incorrect, please let me know. I'll likely not be recording until later this week.

The very first post has a link "Source text: From Project Gutenberg " just above the magic window.davevoelker wrote:I'm a newbie, but I'd like to take sections 12-15. Hope that helps - and welcome!
