These are Mrs. Cathericks "lines" in Walter Hartrights narrative in section 1 chapter 4 and section 29 chapter 8.ceastman wrote:
I believe I've found files of Mrs. Catherick. Take a listen to these and see if they match up:

Okay, thanks. I'll PM her and let her know that we seem to be missing her part of section 32 (epoch 3, part 11)annelika wrote:These are Mrs. Cathericks "lines" in Walter Hartrights narrative in section 1 chapter 4 and section 29 chapter 8.ceastman wrote:

As the newbie on this project, I have a question about how we are doing intro and outro. There is no info given in the first post so I decided to listen to a couple of chapters just at the beginning and I noticed that both of them have the same intro where a woman reads the standard Librivox intro and then the chapter reader puts in their name and the name of their section. Can I get some more specifics please? I want to make sure that I do this correctly. I realize the rules might be a bit different since this is a dramatic work.
Thanks,
Melissa

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

So, yes. Because this is a dramatic work, we have a single voice doing the LV Disclaimer and intro. Sorry that this isn't clear in the first post - I'm not the original BC for the project! :/ Basically, just follow the format of the files that you've listened to, and someone (probably annelika - yay, annelika!) will stick the intro on. Since we don't have the person around who was reading track numbers, do include that in your files!
Thanks for asking - I'll go clarify the first post. (And if this isn't clear, bug me further!)

I've got Catherick section 32 in hand; just need to stick it on the Uploader. Yay!

Melissa, all I need for editing from now on is the text. For easy editing you could record:
The chapter numbers in text are read just as a number.

Thank you Annelika, I will hopefully be able to get lots of recording done this week since I have Spring Break this week!!! I think that I am more ready for Spring Break than the kids are.

Thanks so much Annelika!
And yeah, Melissa... sorry sorry sorry for all earlier instructions, go ahead and record the text Annelika's requested, and she'll stick it in all your beginnings.

Cool, so I can mark those good to go?
(I do want to keep the old links around (partially complete, etc) so I know what needs deleting once the project is catalogued.)
-Catharine, not very coherently

Sure! I think some of them have been marked already--oh, and Sections 32 & 33 have also been re-listened to, edited and uploaded. I'm hoping to finish Sections 34-37 by tomorrow. [/size]ceastman wrote:Cool, so I can mark those good to go?

If not now, when? Wake up and live!
