Oops, forgot to add that I also need a little help with reading an abbreviation.

At the end of Section 23, p. 179, the 1st line of the 2nd to last paragraph before the heading "Action of Coffee on Bacteria" begins with "Mattei[233] found that 8 cc. of an infusion of roasted Mocha coffee ...".

But how is cc. read?

Any help would be great! Thanks
