Act 2 is currently 38:41
Act 3 is 20:43
Act 4 looks like a longer one.

I am afraid I uploaded it twice, with Rapunzelina as MC the first time. Hope that's not an issue.
Missing lines.
Cheers

Well, this goes back beyond my memory to recollect anything bout the play or my character. I'm glad you included a link to the project thread, because I couldn't locate it.
But, I've recorded the two missing words and edited them into my file, and I'm surprised at how well they sound in the dialog for this character. Let me know if this works or if you need anything else from me.

My many thanks to the readers who responded to my request for missing lines!
Now to address the missing lines by readers that are no longer active here... I think I'll post in the "orphaned parts" thread for that.
In the meantime, Act 3 is Ready for PL at 20:43

Alan, it's been some time since I edited a play. If you find the pace too fast, let me know; I am prepared to go back and add pauses if necessary.

Hi
I will try to find time to listen to this tomorrow.
I seem to be doing a lot of PL recently.
At least this is the shortest act

I can take a stab at that missing line for you. I'll send something later today or tomorrow. My feelings will not be hurt is you choose to reject it.

I am looking for a male voice to add missing lines for the part of a reader that is no longer active here.
The play is "The Marrying of Ann Leete", by Harley Granville-Barker (1877 - 1946) viewtopic.php?t=85604
The missing line is for the character George in Act 2, on page marked 23: https://archive.org/details/cu31924013620095/page/n35/mode/2up
"Why, they didn't tell me, and I didn't ask. Carp was laughing. Tatton chuckled . . . afterwards."
Here's a snippet of what the original reader sounds like: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/george_missingline.mp3
(you'll notice half of the line is missing, but I would replace the whole of it.)
Thank you in advance! Please post in the thread if you can help: viewtopic.php?t=85604

I've just uploaded Acts 2 and 4! There is no rush, Alan! This play has been waiting so long, a few more days won't hurt.
Remarks for Act 2:
around 3:40 Jim's voice for George's line
around 8:44 Ann's line is half missing. I tried my voice but did not really like it, and as it doesn't affect the dialogue, unlike George's line above, I thought it could stay as is. What do you say?
Remarks for Act 4:
around 33:36 I added my voice for those lines, I think they are Ann's; it makes more sense. What do you think?

Alan, it's been some time since I edited a play. If you find the pace too fast, let me know; I am prepared to go back and add pauses if necessary.
I have listened to act 3 twice and it sounds OK to me. The pace of the dialogue is fine. I think that dialogue in an audio recording needs to be a bit faster than on stage. On stage dramatic pauses can be effective but in an audio they just make the listener worry that something has gone wrong
In fact the only change I would suggest is to make the pause between the initial stage direction and the first lines of dialogue 1 second shorter.
I will try to do the other acts this weekend

Thank you, Alan! I'm glad that the pacing is OK! I've uploaded Act 3 with a shortened pause at 0:35.
