No need to hide!
Your reading is just fine. The only thing missing is the name of the author at the end - Southey, and the for the short quote - Nelson. Other than that, you are PL OK. Just stick those names in there and upload again under the same name and post a note here!

You're off to a good start :clap:

If I've missed responding to anyone personally, I apologize. But, I have PL'd all submissions to date, and all are PL unless you have a note from me. I've updated the MW window, too, so you can check there.

Spring WILL be here soon. Poor flowers got buried, but we'll see them again soon.

Finally remembered to do this - Section 121 with end of book outro. I should have caught that first time around.

I just got my replacement mic in the mail! Yay! Will record my three sections ASAP.

Quick question: Are we supposed to read the author's name at the end of the poem? I did not do this in my first contribution.

Excellent, as always! PL OK

Oops! Except we need the short piece at the end by Tennyson added to this.

Thanks, Larry. Ok, I see the short piece by Tennyson. As I have not yet encountered a reading with an "addendum", if you will, how do I end the reading? Do I add the Tennyson bit after stating "End of Chapter 95", then do the 10 lines by Tennyson, and then do I credit Tennyson after reading his bit? The flow seems awkward. I guess it would be as shown below...please advise. Thanks.

End Of Chapter 95, by Richter

Who loves not Knowledge? Who shall rail
Against her beauty? May she mix
With men and prosper! Who shall fix
Her pillars? Let her work prevail.
... Let her know her place;
She is the second, not the first,
A higher hand must make her mild,
If all be not in vain; and guide
Her footsteps, moving side by side
With wisdom, like the younger child.

phxtopdog, this would be read thusly...

....main text of THREE SCENES IN THE TYROL ..and poison them with the virus of sin.
Richter

then read...

Who loves not Knowledge? Who shall rail
Against her beauty? May she mix
With men and prosper! Who shall fix
Her pillars? Let her work prevail.
... Let her know her place;
She is the second, not the first,
A higher hand must make her mild,
If all be not in vain; and guide
Her footsteps, moving side by side
With wisdom, like the younger child.
Tennyson
