Welcome, Penguin! (Can we call you Pen-pen? ^_~)

89, 213, and 22 are all yours, but 43 is already accounted for. (Was that a typo for 143, maybe?)

The first post should include or link to everything you need to know to get off to a good start. Thanks for lending a voice! :D

Yes, it was a typo. I meant "143" and not "43."

I think I might have messed up the id3 tags when it comes to title, but everything else should be allright (let me know if there are any mistakes)

Thanks for coordinating this project! I can't wait to hear what it all sounds like.

Lokon---I've started listening to your files.

First, um, are you sure they're MP3s? They're showing up on my computer named *.mp3.wav, the file properties aren't showing up like on MP3s, and Audacity just opens them without converting/importing and shows no ID3 tags. Are they maybe wavs? I can convert them to MP3s in any case.

Also, since these are short poems, we've been using the abbreviated disclaimer, rather than the full version, and you only have to say the title of the poem once---no need to take up half the file with the disclaimer and all. Don't worry, this doesn't mean we can't use your files, just another thing to be careful of in the future; the first post of a project will say if it uses the abbreviated disclaimer.

The readings: your voice is nice and clear. Checking against the text, 28 (Frank Drummer) sounds perfect; 82 (John M. Church) has just one mistake and it's minor ("the snakes" instead of "a snake") in the last line. 234 (Gustav Richter) has various halts and mistakes, though, and all together it's distracting ("when" instead of "where" in line 4, "as if it---after a while" in line 6 instead of "as if after-while", and extra "a" in line 8, unedited repeat in line 14, "Borgia" in line 21 should be pronounced "bore-juh").

If you could try to fix 234, that'd be great; the other two are fine. LMK what you want to do. Thanks! :)

That should finish up my own claims for now. (Except of course my parts in the Epilogue... Beelzebub is open BTW...)

Thanks!

That was fun!

Let me know if these are alright and I'll know its safe to try other projects on this site.

I did have one issue with the ID tags: You indicated the mp3 file should be named with one nomenclature while the title in the ID tag should be something else. When I change the file name, the title in the ID tag changes to match. When I change the title in the ID tag, the file name changes to reflect this. I'm using Itunes to set up the tags.

I hope this isn't a major issue.

Anyway, I left it as the ID tag title indicated.

Ah, must be a limitation of the iTunes software; I've seen that happen before. Don't worry, it's easy to change the tags on my end. I gave them a listen and they sound good! ^__^

However, your files aren't at the correct bit rate; we use 128 and yours are at 160. ---Don't re-record anything until I look into whether I can fix it myself, but please be careful of this in the future.

Thanks, and welcome to Librivox! Great to have you aboard! ^__^
