Thankyou!

*grins* I've put the fast-talk out-takes in the Bloopers thread. Well, half of them, anyway ... I didn't want to bore anyone with the full 6+ minutes of rubbish, when it only boils down to 20 seconds of goodness. :D

Excellent podcast. Thanks especially to Lars, whose section was very moving.
So little space, so much to say.

Are we having a 5th anniversary podcast? I've recorded something to included if we do.

(0:40)

(If there are no plans, I could have a go at doing one myself, maybe? But I've used up most of my inspiration on the poem.)

Okay, scratch that, I've become inspired. If someone else is doing the podcast, let me know and I'll send you what I come up with 2 or 3 days before it needs to be released. Otherwise I'll put everything together myself and have it ready for the 10th.

 Yeah Lucy! I will see about getting you something. We are having a South Central Ontario meet up next Sat so will get some recordings from that.

Is anyone working on this? I mean, who's coordinating the whole thing? If there's no one else right now, I could help. When is this podcast to be released?
Let me know!

ETA - Oh, the 10th. Perfect, I'll be happy to help, Lucy! :D

Brilliant, Lucy -- go for it! Let me know whenever you'd like it launched and I'll happily do the little bits involved to get it into archive.org and our blog. :D

I will do a few minutes on the 5th Anniversary Collections if you like. :) I think I could be reasonably entertaining on the subject.

If you think it appropriate, and you think it would fit in, I could do a few minutes of "rambling" about the danger and hazards (and joy) of becoming a LV reader/addict seen from my horizon, being part of this strange thing for (almost) three years now.

OK so this is what we have so far:

Gesine doing a bit on the 'thank a reader' feature (maybe read some of the general thank yous)

Ruthie doing a bit on the 5 year collection (Thanks)

Rowland doing his bit (Also thanks)

Neeru (or designated volunteer) Doing a bit on the CD covers (anyone?) and mp4 bits (possibly Jonathan Awesome)

Me - adding some impromptu recordings from our meet up.

Lucy
- putting it all together/hostess

Esther :D

ps I was here for the first anniversary!

Wow, I didn't realize we've got so much already :)
About CD covers and mp4, I've PMed Kathryn and Jonathan. They're yet to respond.
I'm also hoping to get some bits added about podcasts, wikis, background and tech stuff, videos and the LibriVox Book Club. :)
And you should talk about the first anniversary :D Reminiscences are the best thing to have on an anniversary podcast!
