Hello again.

I had section 23 all done and ready for upload then I somehow deleted the file that I need to open it so I recorded that again.

I discovered  that on section 4, I destroyed the pronunciation on 4 very important character's names. Tlepolemus, Glaucus, Polydamus and Penelaus.

I took the section and fixed those. There's only 5 places where they occur. Otherwise they are described with their father's name. I need to fix that on Book 3 too. The pronunciations of those are correct later on.

I also have section 24 almost ready to send.

:D

PL notes section23:
11:10 - repeat 'While, in his mind and spirit thus he mused
By Hector led, the Trojan ranks advanc'd
Backward he mov'd

By Hector led, the Trojan ranks advanc'd
Backward he mov'd, abandoning the dead'
33:30 - repeat 'So ordered Ajax, then with crimson blood
the earth was wet, and hand to hand they fell,
Trojans alike, and brave Allies, and Greeks.
'
then with crimson blood
the earth was wet, and hand to hand they fell,
Trojans alike, and brave Allies, and Greeks'
1:08:35 - repeat 'And, 'mid their comrades proudly eminent,
two chiefs, AEneas, old Anchises' son

And, 'mid their comrades proudly eminent,
two chiefs, AEneas, old Anchises' son
And glorious Hector'

Great reading!!

I accidentally added a section without typing in my name as reader. Can we fix that?

Certainly! Just go to BC Admin and look above the list of sections for the button that reads Assign Reader Sections. Click on it and you'll be able to enter the section number and add your name. You will need to choose your name from the dropdown list, so type in the first few letters and then select it when you see it.

Section 23 is PL OK after spotcheck! :)

In section 24 there is a repeat at 42:55 'his prize
Selected for him by the sons of Greece,
Great Agamemnon wrested from his arms

his prize
Selected for him by the sons of Greece,
Great Agamemnon wrested from his arms'

Everything else is great!

Section 26, Book 20:
30:15 - the underlined words are missing: 'The brass-tipp'd spear withdrawing, laid it down
Before Achilles' feet, and lifting up'
34:25 - repeat 'His course midway arrested. Him will I
encounter
, His course midway arrested. Him will I
encounter, thought his hands'

Good work!
