Here are the 2 files for Chief Nyum-Nyum.
Each file also includes the "Crowd" lines for that section.
Thanks Chuck! These reads are both completely PL OK, and very nicely characterised! Thanks for doing a couple of versions of the crowd lines too - it's very helpful to have a nice full sound with lots of voices for the crowds!
I think you've now had a part in each section here, but if you have time for more Dramatic Works, check out the top line of links in my signature file. The red link is to a series of Sherlock Holmes short stories - you can have up to one character in each story, and similarly with the light blue link, which goes to the Dramatic Readings short story collection. There's also the One Act Play collection! You're a very talented voice actor, so I look forward to seeing what you read next!

AH, Sherlock Holmes. Always a favorite of mine.
Thanks for the compliment - but not sure I am "right" for a part in a Holmes story. I cannot do any sort of "English" accent.
But if you think my quintessential American way of speaking can fit, I'll give it a go.
The General is all PL OK, but could you please read us the "crowd" lines as well? We'd like to get a crowd sound, so everyone can read for the pale orange lines. Even if you only read the line "Magic! Don't let his eye fall on you!" That would be great - just stick it in at the end of this file.
Thanks Lola, these crowd lines are now PL OK! I knew you'd do a lovely job, especially of the one where you say "Magic! Do not let his eye fall upon you!"

Hi Elizabby, sorry but due to other commitments I will not be able to fulfill my role for Jip the dog. Best of luck to you and the team here.
Thanks for letting us know! If you're ever able to come back, I'm sure there will still be plenty of things for you to do, if not in this project then somewhere else.
I've gone for a more "common", somewhat excitable doggy voice to contrast with Dolittle's - please let me know if it's excessive and I'll rerecord (another reason for uploading some of these short parts first before laying down Jip's big story)!
Please note that the shorter sections throw up warnings on Checker - as there is so much silence in the file compared to the spoken part that I only used ReplayGain to apply amplify adjustment to the small spoken parts of the file (as otherwise ReplayGain suggested boosting the whole recording to ridiculous volume levels).
Thanks Rafe. I've updated the MW. Thanks for the heads up about the Checker warning. I'm not worried, though. I never trust the Checker volume when it comes to DR parts anyway. You're right. The gaps skew it way too much.

Hi, here are the first of Jip's sections:

Thanks Rafe! Section 3 of Jip is PL OK! Love the doggy voice and panting while swimming! Great start!
You can go ahead and record the rest of Jip, I won’t be able to PL the rest until the weekend when I’m back home on my computer. (I’m on a beach holiday this week!)
