That isn't a usable text link - it is not publicly available, is dated 2004 and going by the translator's name, is a more recent translation.

Did you read from that actual text or was it a hard copy? You stated in your first post "read from Blackie's Library for Boys and Girls". If it was from a hard copy, please upload a photo of the title page and copyright page to my folder.

Maria, I have loaded 3 photos to your file. There is no copyright nor print date in the book anywhere. For your enjoyment, I included the inscription to my aunt on the front cover, inside. Let me know if this is adequate. Thank you.

Alright, I've found a 1908 scan online from the same publisher. I've compared the text and it is the same.

Thank you, Maria. Sorry for the extra trouble. Every now and then I just want to pick up a real book!

Hello, my name is Bria Holmes. I am new to Librivox and I have already done my one-minute test. May I do the poem, "The Fox and the Geese and the Wonderful History of Henny Penny?" Also, I wanted to know how we can see if a poem or story has already been recorded. Thank you.

Hi Bria,

Welcome to Librivox!

This collection is only for prose. Poetry will need to go in the Short Poetry collection here: viewtopic.php?t=96580

Yes, you can definitely record something that has already been recorded. We call the "A choice of voice!".

Thank you! Nice job. There is one thing that needs to be fixed.

The volume is too low at 81.3 DB. We need it to be between 86-92 DB, ideally around 89. If you could amplify it and reupload, that would be great!
