Section 24 is yours! As to footnotes, please use your own judgement. If you think that the footnote has some helpful or interesting information, please read it as usually done (saying "footnote"... "end of footnote"). If the note looks irrelevant, you may skip it, no big deal.

Hi and welcome to Librivox!
I am glad to hear that this project has caught your attention. But, before I can assign you any sections, please do the 1-minute-test. It is not an audition, just a way to make sure the technical specifications of your recording file are the right ones - that saves a massive amount of time when you do an actual chapter.
Here you can read all about the test: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Once you are done with the test, please post back here and I will be happy to assign to you any free chapter of your choice.

Kristine :)

Can I grab sections 12 & 30?

These would be my first readings (already cleared the 1-minute test) and I would like to appear under Kristen Taylor in the Librivox catalogue.
Thank you!

If sections 9 and 23 are still open, I would love to claim them!

Hi! May I take section 2?
This would also be my first reading. I have cleared the 1 minute test and should already be listed as Siler Weaver (I think :D )
Thanks,
Siler

No one wants section 1? Seems like that'd be the one to take :)

(Hint: I'll take Section 1: The Two Sieges of Louisburg (1745 anad 1758) by A.G. Bradley, Pages 3-14 )

A quick skim shows no dialog...last one I did about halfway in, realized not only was there dialog, but three of the four voices were women. I suspect it would all be in a British dialog, so had to pass on it. :)

List me as CBJason in the logging if you would.
