[RELIGION] Some Answered Questions ‘Abdu’l-Bahá - complete
You're right, my mistake. I did forget to put anything whatsoever in the metadata. Like I said, it will be a while before I can get to that, but it is on my long-term to-do list.queenofit wrote:Sorry, yes you did leave the sec. at the end, but I did not find any MP3 tags....can someone else check for me as well?????

Hi everyone,
As it is a cleaning month this month, I'm checking on the progress of readers for projects which I'm MC-ing. I remember, dear Adib, that you are planning to read this book during the summer. Could you just post an update on when you plan to start?
Regards,

Sorry for the delay; summer classes have kept me at bay! I intend to resume this project in December.

Dear Nicholas and others,
I apologize for doing this, but my studies have expanded to a pretty large amount as of late. Most of the free time I can find in between is being eaten up by various academic projects I'm undertaking on the side. I will also be entering graduate school soon, and I intend to get an internship to accompany that, which will hopefully be a good segue into a stable job.
Given the foregoing, I'm afraid I can't see myself continuing this project. I suppose it hurts to say I'm "terminating" it, but this is just too big a project for me to pick back up again at any point in the near future, and perhaps even in the long-term. Even in the summers, when I'm not taking college courses, I'm trying to improve my Arabic (currently with Rosetta Stone)—and perhaps if I'm fortunate enough, I can even attend Middlebury College or even a college in the Arab world, like the Qasid Institute, for a summer or two.
I'm only grateful I didn't go any farther than I already had, as that would have only added to the pain of putting a stop to this project. I apologize once again.
Best regards,
Adib

No worries, Adib. This can be opened up as a group project, so there's no need to discard your first recordings. Could you please have a look at queenofit's notes from the first page before you finish with this project as a couple of your files just need a bit of extra silence at the end. Then they'll be PL OK.Adib wrote:I'm only grateful I didn't go any farther than I already had, as that would have only added to the pain of putting a stop to this project. I apologize once again.
I'm now opening this up for other volunteers and will move to the Readers Wanted section...

I have added word counts for each section and increased the number of sections from 28 to 35 (because some sections were too long).
queenofit, are you still around? I just want to check that we still have an active proof listener.
Volunteers, where are ye? Let's record this fascinating and enlightening project.
