Thanks for the info, Kelly! You don't need to read it again, no.

The sound quality isn't bad except a puff on certain sounds, so I'd try repositioning the mic before taking drastic measures. If you're able to get a new one, though, most folks around here (including myself) swear by the USB type.

Here's a trick which will help you avoid those puffing sounds no matter what type of mic you have:

Before you begin to record, place the mic between your lips and your nose, a little to the side of your face. Place the tip of your finger on the mik and puff some air out of your mouth and out of your nose. If your finger feels the breeze, move the mic a bit more to the side.

I have recorded Psalm 123 and uploaded it here:

This is my first reading and I'm terribly nervous about my voice, so I picked a short one.

I would like to be credited as Jennifer Ghosh, if at all possible, no URL.

Welcome to Librivox, Jenny! :D

Got your recording; good job! Maybe a little quiet but that gets fixed in the uploading process and you gave a good reading. Got the catalog info too, and it's all good.

Thanks!

The deadline has passed, and this weekly poem is now complete. If you still want to record a Psalm, that's great---please submit it to the current Short Poetry Collection.

Thanks to everyone who participated, and everyone have a Very Happy Easter tomorrow! ^__^
