Robert - very nice, had me laughing pretty hard. :D

Laura and Brett - The sound effects are cool but if you want to include them, check this out first: http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/MusicRules

We really really really prefer that you don't use sound effects or music at all and if you do we really really prefer that you use them from Project Gutenberg. Otherwise, we'll need some kind of proof that it is public domain and permission from the website where you got it, Brett.

In addition, you'll need to add a disclaimer to the end of the recording as noted on the wiki. And finally, I'll need the source and permission statement and proof of public domain for cataloging.

I know this is a big pain in the rear but that's the way of copyright unfortunately.

JCB---LOL! Love it! I'm sounding like a broken record, I know, but everyone is coming up with such funny stuff. ^_^

LibraryLady, thanks for the link to the music/SFX rules!

Brett, keep me posted and/or let me know what you want to do with that.

Not your fault, Annie. Copyright is kind of our own Sword of Damocles around here, isn't it? ^_^;;

Welcome, Joe! Thank you! Your first recording sounds good!

The only things I'd say to do differently in the future are, make the filename all lowercase (including your initials), and leave a few seconds silence at the end (like 5 sec. at most). The filename was easily fixed on my end, though, and I wouldn't worry about either thing this time.

Welcome to Librivox! Hope to hear more from you! :D

Ah, Sweet Spring at last is coming! It was still so light outside, I was surprised the deadline hour had passed!

And for a wrap-up, the straight version:

Well, I considered changing the last line to "I'd rather see than eat one," but decided that might be a little too far in the direction of bad taste. Literally. :wink:
