Hi Annie,

Thanks for your comments. I got on your website and you are doing great work yourself. That's a great setup you have there.

Where is St. Louis? Is that by Hannibal?

Just Kidding

We live in Overland Park, Kansas.

Go Cardinals and Rams

And maybe Chiefs and Royals too.

OK, if you can send me the rest of the files I'll get the cataloging process on its way. Again, just make sure they have their ID3 tags, and the disclaimer at the beginning of each.

If you're familiar with FTP we can make this easier. You can temporarily use some of my server space. If you're willing to learn I can show you, it's pretty easy. Just give me a PM if you'd like to do it this way instead of using yousendit, and I'll give you the username and pass.

Have you listened through all the recordings? If not it isn't a problem. Even though this is in a language most people won't understand, we can send it to the Listeners Wanted forum if you haven't listened through, and have it proof-listened. This is just to make sure that all mistakes are edited out, etc.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, I am not far from Hannibal. ;) I don't care much about the Rams but I'm a *huge* Cardinals fan so I'm afraid I can't root for the Royals but I suppose I could for the Chiefs. :D

OK, Isreal do you think that we should send these chapters over to Listeners Wanted? If you've listened through to them it probably won't be necessary. This would just be to check for glaring mistakes that were left in. Since it's a foreign language to most it would be a check for very obvious mistakes of course. What do you think?

Hi Kri,

I would like to have feedback from people regarding the tone, voice and content.

I am not sure really what to think of this work, I'm always my worst self critic. Chapters 9 and 10 probably need to be recorded over again, the tone is too low, maybe?

So I'll just let you call the shots on this.

Proof Listening is being done here: http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1854

Incidentally, Isreal you might enjoy this comment from one of our listeners...

Oh, and Maria says there is a slight stop in the recording around 04:23 min. for the first recording. You should just check to make sure it's not a piece of the recording missing, or if all is well.

Thank you Maria and Kri for your efforts

I'd like to know which chapter to look for 4:23 Min pause?

Just in case I looked at 1,2,3 and they are ok.
The rest of the chapters don't go that far.

It was chapter 1, and I guess it's ok now :)

Isreal, you may want to check the listeners wanted thread for this project. There was a mention of a possible/maybe mistake in one of the recordings that I think you'd be best qualified to check.

I listened to chapter 7 and all the text is there. But there was the volume change and a blip as Mariasc said and I corrected it. So check it again when Kri will post it. The new file name is Genesis7Final2.mp3

Whoops, I just realized you had more chapters. I'm a bit too hasty I guess!

Isreal, how many files total are there? I re-opened the listeners wanted thread for the last three that haven't been checked over.
