Hi Chip,

Here are my two. I enjoyed those ones. Cute little tales, both.

Thanks for all of them dunkelberg and VickiB! Seven of them coming in over my modem at once means it'll be an hour before I get to hear them, but I'll bet they're great - thanks!

YouSendIt is only better because everyone can download and listen if you post the link. But eMail is just fine. Sure it takes a while, but with a modem line EVERYTHING takes a while...

Those last five are classics, Lee! Most of these are "straight" readings, but you've taken characterization to a whole new level. I'm of two minds about doing the intro and outro pieces in character; you do it both ways. Heck, do it whatever way seems best to you!

Looking forward to these:
05-18 THE SOLDIER AND HIS HORSE <dunkelberg>
05-19 THE OXEN AND THE BUTCHERS <dunkelberg>
05-20 THE WOLF AND THE LION <dunkelberg>
05-23 THE HORSE AND HIS RIDER <dunkelberg>
05-24 THE GOAT AND THE VINE <dunkelberg>

Here's the "naughty" way again.

and here's the "nice" (with standard ins and outs)

Note that the second one is "2a"

Use whichever you want...

Don't sweat the ego thing, Ted. Though Lee IS awesome, like the rest of us there's plenty for him to learn. Each of us brings something unique to LibriVox, and you don't need a lot of experience to do it.

Lee's doing it the way he thinks is best, and it's great. You do it the way YOU think is best, and that'll also be great. Trust me on that one.

Here! Here! (or is it - HEAR! HEAR!?)
One person's awesome is another's tiresome ham!

I am new to this and enjoying it immensely. I also have some background in this recording thing. However, anyone who has read out loud (especially if by choice) can be part of this team and that's what makes it so much fun.

It seems all you have to do is watch your levels, keep up with the "paperwork" and have a good time.

That's what I am doing.
