If all chapters are assigned, what happens to the Magic Window? I can't find
House on the Marsh in Readers Wanted: Books. Just want to check on the PLs.

It gets moved to Readers Found. But this needs to be done manually by the MC, so it doesn’t always happen immediately.

But you found the thread to post this, so just go to page 1 (the pages are listed top and bottom of the page) and the MW is there.

Here is chapter 8

https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/The_house_on_the_marsh_chapter_8.mp3

I am hoping to have chapter 9 done soon, but may need a little over the 24th January, perhaps another week as I am away this weekend.

I'm still fairly new to recording and this was my first project with implying different speakers/using different voices.

I hope its ok and that I havent overdone it, I am very conscious of this but happy to learn.

If any editing or recording problems please let me know and I am happy to edit. It did past the checker tool for everything else

Many thanks

Thank you.
An extension is fine!
Please be sure to follow the file naming protocol as outlined in the first post and always give the length of the file.

Chapter 8

Very nice reading. Just a couple of small edits needed:

~2:40 repeat"For the first time I was afraid of the dark"
~18:22-18:31 long pause. Please cut to no more than about 2-3 seconds.

Please reupload with the filename houseonthemarsh_08_warden_128kb.mp3

Thanks so much for the feedback. I have made these changes! I realise why there was such a long space. It was to do with the track being segmented in Audacity and after editing I hadn't realised the gap that it created!

Anyway my next problem is that for some reason it is now failing the checker after those edits? Ive put it through replay gain twice more and its coming out at 89.1 saying failed. Any tips? I keep playing around trying to figure it out.

Thanks for the extra extension on chapter 9! Working on this now!
