How about "Great books set free to be heard!"?

ChipDoc, i hear you, but will come to the claim again later, when i am at it in the poster. I gotta do the picture stuff first. I will re-read the whole thread then and will work on the claim with you, ok?

Update on progress:
After i got the files from gord (after months  :P ..no no i am taking my time too, procrastinating), i wanted to start working, but noticed that the 3D rendering of the white headphones are not his. So i found and asked the creator of those, Michael Holzinger, fortunatly speaking my mother-language, if we may use his picture on our poster for our volunteer project (i described Librivox to him and asked kindly of course). It took a week for him to answer. He answered "we may use the headphones, if we link back to his webpage."
This is open to interpretation. I wrote him again for clarification, stating that of course he will be credited and thanked well on our forums, but that we cannot put his link on the poster and i explained and pleaded again for his permission - on my knees so to speak.
Another week has past. I really want to get going on this.

Two options:
1. I re-model the headphones in 3Dmax, which will be work for me, will take some time and will probably not look as good. But Ok, can do. But i?d rather would:

2. simply use his rendering, and we will credit and link to his webpage on our wiki and here in the forums, interpretating his prerequisite in this way.

Stephan,

The picture of the headphones was found on a site which houses publicly submitted copyright free images... which is why I did not contact the creator myself.

I sourced a number of such sites (there are 4 or 5 that I know of), so I will have to go back to find which archive I got it from. If he himself submitted it to the archive, then there is no need to ask his permission as he gave up his rights when he submitted it.

If it was submitted to the site without his permission then, of coruse, he still holds copyright and you are pursuing the correct course, I believe.

What does the ETA look like for this? And would anyone mind if I got a a local graphic artist to draw up one of the other poster ideas if I vett it before distribution?

Michael Holzinger officially gave me his full permission per email to use the white headphones in our poster. I convinced him of our lovely project. :D
Thanks a lot Michael!

If somebody needs a graphics artist for a project (videodesign, motion graphic, 3d design, compositing, special effects) or for a website, consider young

I'm finding ALL of this difficult to imagine and so really can't vote without seeing something. Also, I'll have to look back and read everything to see how it fits into LV. It's up in the air for me.
