COMPLETE - Aunt Jane's Nieces at Millville by Baum - ek
Hi Mike!
Your test recording sounds great!
All your tech settings are fine. Only the volume is perhaps borderline too quiet. Also there is quite some background noise in your recording. I think a bit of noisecleaning and amplifying should do the trick.
Here are some good tutorials:

Have fun reading! If there is anything you'd like to know, just shout!

Section 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, Proof listened and all okay
Section 13 All okay, this recording is quite a bit louder than the rest
Sections 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, Proof listened and All okay
Section 22 All okay The labeling on this one appears different than the others ?? Maybe should check it??
Section 23
@ 2:48 Wegg said he would get the stock from the cupboard and
hand it to me; but we both forgot it at that time.
Just where this sentence ends there is recording over recording. This continues to 3:06 where you have this sentence.
"I would like the matter cleared up for the sake of Ethel and Joe," said
Mr. Merrick, simply.
Between these two times and sentences we need to have the following recorded
After his death I could not find it, for it was in the secret drawer."
"Another thing, sir," said Uncle John. "If neither Wegg nor Thompson was
then interested in the Almaquo property, why did the news of its
destruction by fire shock them so greatly that the result was Captain
Wegg's death?"
"I see it will be necessary for me to explain to you more fully,"
returned West, with a thoughtful look. "It is evident, Mr. Merrick, from
your questions, that some of these occurrences seem suspicious to a
stranger, and perhaps you are not so much to be blamed as, in my
annoyance and indignation, I have imagined."
Well there you are all caught up I think! Great readers All!
