Instead of chapters 22 and 23, I claim chapters 24, 26, and 27.

Maikki, I entirely agree about Undine! I hope this isn't a spoiler (it may even be in Ch 45) but at one point Wharton refers to "Undine's latest experiment in happiness". And yet, she's not totally hard hearted. She just doesn't have a clue.

When I found this was PD, I just couldn't resist posting it, even though LV has so many novels going right now.

I have just uploaded customofthecountry_08_wharton. As with chapter 7, I got no URL, but maybe you can find it. I am trying to get accounts with both of the other uploading services you suggested but have not yet succeeded.
Chapter 07's URL: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/km/customofthecountry_07_wharton.mp3

On both Leon and my checking, we could see Chapter 07, but Chapter 08 was no where to be found....I looked in the folders above and below this one, so maybe it got lost with the glitches we've had today with the forum blipping out, maybe?

Nope, not in ch45, but that's a nice little teaser. Who found it? Which chapter? Will there be a prize for the one who reads it for this project?
