I was wondering if it would be possible to claim all of book 2, that's section 15-27. I love Les Mis, and I'm so glad we're doing the unabridge version.

Yay! Ok, now I have a question, in the first Chapter it talks about a man walking into the town of D----, what is the actual name of this town? I tried finding the french version to look it up, but I can't find it.

Great! smileyman, the files are in the project folder and I've updated the links in the reader list.

Ryan, I listened to your file. From 0:16-0:20 there are some audible clunks (did you turn the mic off for a moment?) and mouse clicks. Quite easy to edit out if you wanted to (not necessary though).

You still have the weird reverberation in your background (remember my comments about you first Tik Tok file). The Preface would be an excellent file (very short) to post in the Help Wanted forum, to see how the sound quality could be improved.

In order to make your 'title' tag sort properly to be the first file of the book in a player, it should be "Book 00, ch. 00: Preface" - I know it's a bit weird but it works. If you're not making any changes to the file, I'll change it when during cataloguing, so don't worry. :)

Also listened to chapter 68 - lovely reading and everything ok but 5 seconds silence at the end missing.

I put these things in the Notes fields.

I've run into another snag at the end of Chapter one Book 2. There is a Madame and Marquise de R----- that I can't find the name of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might I suggest that the BC should provide a list of all these names of towns and people which only have first letters- Since this a very long book, Im sure these will come up time and time again and we should strive for consistency. Ill look through the french version of the book to see if they have the full name of the Madam Marquis de R-, since it would be a little tragic to not read her actual name... oh- and this list should probably be edited into the first post-

Just trying to think ahead ;)

Frenchaudrey, I would greatly appreciate the full name. If it helps, it's in Book 2, Chapter 1 right near the end.

And a list would definitely help, then this thread won't be full of "what's this town's name???" posts.

I am sooooo sorry guys! I have been so busy!!!!

Okay, so, Lisamarie, I've assigned you your part. I am sorry, but I don't have time to go through the whole book and find all the funky names, so I will post them as they are brought up (unless someone would be so kind as to get them for me now..*wink wink*).

Sorry for the delay in response! I'll try to be more diligent now!!!
