I'm sorry guys, unfortunately while editing my raw recording my PC has died. I'm not sure on the time frame on being able to recover the HD and continue on, so I guess I'll have to hand my part over to someone else. I'd love to continue with my laptop but I can't ensure a time as I haven't tested the capabilities of my chromebook.

Sorry for delaying the project.

Jayes.

Thanks for the heads-up Jayes, I think I read somewhere that Audacity is not compatible with chrome.
A google search turned up this.

A quote from someone on the Audacity forum...
As I understand it (I don't have a Chromebook), the whole idea of a Chromebook is to work in the "cloud": this means that you use software as a service provided from web-based cloud service providers. Audacity is not an "app" but is designed to run on the local machine as a fully installed application, so a Chromebook is not suited to running Audacity.
So there are now two available sections: 61 - Australia and the Islands of the Pacific
and the just orphaned: 62 - The States of Australia.

Hi (again)

Here is section 62.

https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/onpubgeography_62_ontdeptedu.mp3

duration: 6:16

By the way you have these (61 and 62) mixed up in the MW. (Not that it matters.)

Happy holidays.

61 and 62 are PL OK!

BTW the MW mix-up does matter now because the new system pulls a lot of info directly from the MW to save us some duplication of effort, so I'm sure Dave will thank you for pointing that out. :)
