OK, so following these last exchanges and replies to my PMs, our status now is:

Alex - If you have already contacted them once, I suggest you orphan the two sections straight away. AnaNelson has only posted on the forum 3 times, one of the posts to sign up, and they were all on 18 Nov. - Alys was quite busy with grad school and moving - her last posts were 03 Dec. She's been around for a while though so why not PM her with a response deadline in a couple of days - if you don't hear from her, orphan the section on that day.

Carl - thanks again for your offer, can you edit the sections outlined above?

Alex, I've deleted the post in Orphaned chapters and have signed up Cori and Jo in the reader list (and deleted Alys and AnaNelson). Great stuff.
