Your file was very very quiet. While I had it here I made it louder by 8 db. The 5 sec silence at the end were missing, I fixed that too. In case edits are needed, please use the file from the uploader or redo these changes in your file.

Ho ascoltato questa nuova versione di “Pallottoline!”(novella n. 15).

Al punto 05:56 (“un pluviometro o un anemometro “) si sente troppo il taglia e cuci; meglio registrare di nuovo la parte. Dovresti poi completare il tag anteponendo al titolo il numero della sezione (15 - Pallottoline!) e lasciare all’inizio uno spazio di silenzio compreso tra 0,5 e 1 secondo. L’audio non è perfetto, ma se dici di non riuscire a migliorarlo … lasciamolo al momento così com’è.

Nella Magic Window trovo ancora caricata la vecchia registrazione ... Preferisco procedere al controllo di ogni nuova versione (compresa questa) solo dopo averla scaricata dalla finestra magica ed essere certa che abbia sostituito il vecchio file ... Per evitare confusione.

Qualcuno può, per cortesia, caricare in finestra questa registrazione di Caimma?

Il problema iniziale è la presenza di uno 'spazio' nel nome del file. Di conseguenza il file caricato da Caimma nel sito librivox non è più lo stesso del link in finestra.
Ho scaricato e corretto il nome, ma l'uploader mi ha dato più volte errore in caricamento. Non sono sicuro se il file sia stato caricato correttamente o no...

Hokuspokus, I tried multiple times to re-upload the file 15 with the corrected file name, but the LV uploader has been giving me always the same error when the upload ends: "Error SyntaxError: Unexpected token <". I'm not sure if the upload succeeded or not...

That's no problem at all. I'll fix the file name at cataloging time. That's much easier for me than re-uploading for any one else. Just make sure that the right file is in the MW. I take care of the rest.

I think, this error message means that you are not logged in to the uploader properly. This can happen when you were logged in for some time and you your internet connection broke for a short time during the session.

In the MW (n. 15) I still see the old file (correct filename) instead of the new one (incorrect filename: novelle11_15 _pirandello ; there is a space between 15 and _ ).

I got the file, fixed the file name and checked the tech specs. The file was much too quiet, even quieter then the first. 5 sec silence in the end were missing, there was a space in front of the album tag (these spaces can cause trouble in the new system, please be careful with them).
I fixed that all and the file is uploading now. When I got everything right, it should be the file in the MW.
I asked an Admin college who speaks Italian to help you with the uploader.
It might be a good idea if you do a test recording to work out the volume problem. I would offer my help, but it seems you are not comfortable with English. Maybe Filippo can work that out with you?

TRADUZIONE PER CAIMMA:

Ho preso il file, corretto il nome e controllato i parametri tecnici. Il volume del file era troppo basso, ancora più basso del primo. Mancavano i 5 secondi di silenzio alla fine e c'era uno spazio davanti al tag album (questi spazi possono dare problemi nel nuovo sistema, per favore prestate massima attenzione). Ho corretto tutto questo e il file si sta caricando ora nella Magic Window.
Ho chiesto ad un amministratore che parla Italiano di aiutarti nel caricamento dei file. Non sarebbe male che facessi una registrazione di prova per sistemare il volume. Io ti aiuterei volentieri, ma c'è il problema della lingua. Magari ti può dare una mano Filippo?

Cara Caimma,

Non ti devi scusare, siamo qui per aiutarci l'un l'altro!
Ti spiego una cosa che anch'io, all'inizio, ho faticato a capire. Quando si carica un file nuovo, questo automaticamente si sovrascrive al vecchio file che ha lo stesso nome. In questo modo non si genera confusione: resta in rete soltanto UN file ... l'ultimo ... quello che a noi interessa di più (le precedenti versioni evidentemente avevano qualcosa che non andava).
Cos'è successo stavolta?
Tu hai caricato il file con uno spazio in più (novelle11_15SPAZIO_pirandello), perciò non poteva sovrascriversi al file precedente il cui nome era: novelle11_15_pirandello! Pertanto io vedevo nella MW ancora la versione vecchia e non l'ultima che pur avevi caricato.

Se hai qualche dubbio chiedi pure!

Ora procedo a scaricare dalla MW il tuo ultimo file che, rinominato correttamente da Hokuspokus, è andato a sostituire quello vecchio. Domani farò il proof-listening e ti saprò dire se ci sono modifiche da fare.
