That's perfect, tekksavvy! It's best to PL from the links in the MW now that we are switching to the new uploader. It generates URL's that are different than the ones from the old uploader, so when someone sends an edited file, the link will be different even if the file name is the same. Whatever is entered in the MW is what goes into the catalog in the end -- so PL'ing and doing the spot checks from the MW links is great so that we can be sure the right files end up in the catalog!tekksavvy318 wrote:but did manage to listen from the magic window!

There are two instances of small errors but they don't change the the overall meaning in the sentence so I will give it a pass but will leave it on Uday to decide!
SECTION 25: PL OK!
Sharing knowledge about people who walk different walks of life is a baby step towards understanding them and librivox is a great platform for just that!

I made all corrections noted except that for 14:02. I could not find/hear an error. Please let me know what I am missing.
Thx
Marian
i checked that part again and seems like I missed the start of the sentence "And knowing this, it knows....." -- no errors found.... PL OK!

Hello Marian,
Regarding section 17, I am seeing that you have uploaded the modified file selecting the MC icequeen instead of chocoholic.
Your first and second URLs-
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/law/rajayoga_17_ramacharaka.mp3 (from your post on page 6)
http://dev.librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/rajayoga_17_ramacharaka.mp3 (on page 7)
Hi Laurie,
Shall we let Marian upload once again selecting the right MC or would you be able to move the file to your folder? Thanks.
Hi Ubaid,
I will PL part one of twelfth lesson. Thanks for the opportunity!

It's OK to leave it where it is for the moment and not upload a second copy. I am not yet able to move files in the new uploader, but as long as icequeen doesn't delete it from her folder it will be safe there. (I'll let her know.)
Laurie Anne
Thanks Laurie!

Forgot to mention (if I haven't already) -- the link in the Magic Window does need to point to the corrected file (the one in icequeen's folder). Whatever is linked in the MW gets sent to Archive at cataloging time, so be sure to change the link when people send edited files. That's the case even if it's in my folder; if the first file was in the old uploader and the edited file is in the new uploader, the links will be different even if the file name and the uploader folder name are the same.
I'll enter the new link for 17 since I am in there right now anyway.

You are not alone -- I tend to upload all my recordings to my own folder even if they are supposed to go somewhere else. Sometimes I realize it in time and can move them and fix the links before anybody notices.Belgrave wrote:Sorry for mixup in my upload . I looked at wrong project.

Hi Arabella,
Section 26 is a great recording. Couldn't find any errors/modification!
I felt a slight modification in the pronunciations of Brahma, read as Braahma and Shiva, read as Sheeva at 10:40
Go for this link- http://dev.librivox.org/uploads/xx-nonproject/Brahma,Shiva_pronunciations.MP3
Thanks.
