I need some help with equalization tips. I recorded each paragraph individually, and have been attempting to get the sound as equalized as possible, but I don't think it's working that well. I've exhausted everything that I could think of. Any ideas?

Are they different volumes, or just sound different because your voice was different each time?

If it's your voice, there's not much you can do about it.

You could either amplify each portion as needed, or just go with it as it is, if it's only a slight difference. You could also try using Auphonic.com, if you wanted.

I'll give it another go with auphonic, and if I can't get it, then I'll upload as is. Thanks!

Hooray! Holidays are coming! :D
At last I'll have time to continue recording my part ("The Man That Was Used Up").
I'm so sorry you had to wait, but there was much more work than I expected.
But now I can go on reading. So I hope the record will be completed in about a week.

That's great. I'd love to see this one all turned in, PL'd, and cataloged in a couple weeks. :)

EDIT: Oh, wait - Antoine hasn't logged in since May 11. Chances are that he won't have his section done in 2 days. :(

Thanks!

I see Kim is lurking in the thread. I'm sure she'll have this PL'd shortly. 8-)

Hi Kim/Tricia

Just ran sec12 through Checker to confirm the volume - and discoverd that for some reason I still don't understand it was saved at 32kbps.

Have now uploaded revised version at 128kbps. Level is 88.5dB

Thanks, Chris.
