I'd like to read the very first section please!
Hello Ava ^^

Your reading of section 1 is great. However, there are 3 stumbles which appear to be the recording program's errors Ó.Ò . Here is the detail:
11:32: Bismark was obliged t..to tell them
13:11: thus formed continued t..to dominate
17:14: and his sayings have enriched t..the German language

Thank you very much for your work ^w^

Here is Section 23, The Story of Griselda, by Giovanni Boccaccio:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/le/worldsbestliterature5_23_various.mp3
Duration: 28:05

This story is told in The Canterbury Tales as well as in The Decameron. It is The Clerk's Tale in Chaucer, and is probably told in response to The Wife of Bath's Tale. "Patient Griselda" was formerly considered something of an ideal wife, but I think that modern people of both sexes see her as a weak and miserable victim of the most egregious spousal abuse.

Hi, Leni,

Now that I have finished my assigned Boccaccio sections, I would like to take on another writer by claiming the 3 sections about and by Björnstjerne Björnson, Sections 5, 6, and 7. I know that I taught a short story by him many years ago, but I can't remember what it was. I only know that I liked it very much.
