LibriVox Multilingual Short Works Collection 009 - Poetry & Prose

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/multilingual-short-works-collection-009-by-various/

This collection is for short works, in any language except (modern) English. This can include poetry but also prose, fiction as well as non-fiction.
Feel free to choose any work which is in the public domain. If you're unsure what we mean by 'public domain', please read this explanation. Try to stick to works that run less than 60 minutes.
Please follow the instructions in this post carefully. :) There is no need to "sign-up" before recording; please remember that you should choose a work that is Public Domain in your country AND that was published before 1923; if you are unsure about anything, please post here and ask before recording!

Everyone can contribute as many recordings as he/she wants.
It's OK to submit readings in English (English being a language, I figure), but as there are plenty of other places to put those, let's limit them to special cases such as interesting regional dialects or accents.

If you are interested to see what has been done previously, check the previous Multilingual Collections in our catalog (but we welcome multiple versions of the same work).

Happy recording!
Any questions?
Please post below :)

===============================================

- all recordings for this project that have not been PL-ed 4 weeks after the volume is complete will not be included in the volume.
- the readers for these sections will receive a PM about this, and we would like to encourage them to re-submit their recording to the next open volume of this collection (which can be found here: xxxx). This will allow longer time for the recordings to find a PL-er.

Hi Monika

I have taken the liberty of PLing your recording.

What a superb reading! :9: Very different but on a par with my long-remembered recording of Oskar Werner reciting this piece.

Just one tiny variation from the text:
5:47
Wovon ich die Revenuen genoß.
I heard:
Wovon die Revenuen ich genoß.

Cheers
