WOW, I am so surprised that the Aesop fables went over so well. I just suggested we do them on Monday. I wanted to do a couple of them myself, but by the time I got back here, they were all gone!

Oh don't worry a bit about THAT, Patti - there are 284 of the things! At this rate, there will be ten more volumes to go! But I still haven't heard from Joplin, who had the first two. I still need those two even if Joplin doesn't come back.

With the understanding that Joplin has first dibs, would you like to do the first two, pattimac? They're really short and fun to do, even if they don't get used in the final take of Volume 1. But I'd really like to get this volume completed. The sooner we finish these, the sooner we begin Volume 2!

I wish I could, but we're going to Montana on Monday and won't have access to a computer. We won't be back until Friday 1/20. I'll check back then and hopefully you will have Volume 2 (or maybe even Volume 3?) up.

I will claim some fables then.

I sure wish I could get The Charcoal-Burner and the Fuller from worraps. He's recorded it and he's got a really interesting voice, but has been unable to ship it for some reason. Strange, since he managed to send The Moon and Her Mother to me via the You Send It link. Try it again, worraps!

Got it that time - thanks worraps! Sounds great too.

On the technical side, I had to double the volume seven times to bring it up to reasonable levels, but that's a simple thing to work on. Just record a little louder and it'll be fine. Thanks for your help; it's great to have your participation in this project!
