Corrected Section 17 reloaded.
I remember visiting Judge Davis' mansion in Bloomington IL back when I was attending university in Normal. Very interesting to get a bit more history on the Judge and his connection with the President.

I visited there when I was at ISU too. Did you go with visitors like I did? My parents, I think. That was a long time ago.

Why it's Veronica of Starved Rock fame! Great to see you around the forums again. Of course we would see you here - reading Illinois history!

Thanks MaryAnn and Steve for your work on these last few chapters.
Unfortunately I have decided to orphan section 18 as the reader has not responded to the PM I sent him, and the section has edits needed that really need the original reader to fix them.

Ashleigh,
I can read 18 if you would like - to get this one over the finish line!

Hello Ashleigh,
My name is Jay Sands. I am somewhat of a newbie, but, with a solo project and one other project under my belt so far. I would really like to help you complete this project if section 18 is still available. Just im me or post here. Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Ashleigh,
I have not started on 18, so if Jay wants to read it, that's fine with me.

After a discussion with Jay and MaryAnn, it has been decided that MaryAnn will read section 18. I have updated the MW accordingly.
I would ask Elizabeth to move us to readers found...but i think that would be tempting fate
ETA: And then I realise that we already are in readers found

Edited: that's the best you are going to get for "scaly skin" in the endnotes. I've always had trouble with my esses and I was certainly having trouble with that one this afternoon!

Just checking in on the status of this project. The only extant claim is from October - is the reader still on board?
