section 08 is PL OK.

Please add a 0.5 to 1 second silence at the beginning and you haven't recorded almost half of chapter 9. You stopped at "We know now why Stapleton looked with disfavour upon his sister's suitor— even when that suitor was so eligible a one as Sir Henry." You still need to record the part from "And now I pass on to another thread which I have extricated out of the tangled skein..." to the end.

If people are unable to complete their recordings, I would be happy to do some more recording.

Duly noted, very kind of you.
Let me see... we're waiting for the next dgulino's and Arlecchina's recordings, still within timeframe though.

I'm getting worried about Arlecchina's assignment... it remains in the pipeline.

If it has been more than 2 months, you can automatically open it up to a new reader. :)

Edit to add: she hasn't logged into the forum since Jan 26th. You can probably safely orphan the section. Chances are very slim she'd submit the section in the next couple days.

At the last moment, I decided not to read this section in my "talk like a pirate" voice.

Elaine seems to have disappeared from the project. I've advertised for a new DPL.
