Absolutely, thanks for joining us! It looks like this is your first dramatic work. It's pretty straightforward, just record Horster's line with a few seconds of silent in between and please say "Captain Horster read by [your name]" at the beginning of the Act 1 file. Good luck!

Of course, I would love for you to read Aslaksen, but I'm afraid it is probably not out of copyright in the UK :( . There is something called the "Rule of Shorter Term" which might possible apply in this case, but I really don't understand copyright law. You should contact the MC, gloriana, to see if she can help you.

I've reserved the part for you while we wait, but I can't sign you up at this point.

Short term only applies to American authors. Not PD in UK :(

Yeah, that's what I thought, since the translator is British, UK copyright law applies. Very sorry!

We seem to have lost contact with Matthew Scott, so I'm reopening the narrator section.

Assuming that you mean Morten, the ten year old, and not Morten Kiil (I'm 99% sure that Ibsen used all these similar names for the purpose of confusing me) then no! It is open! I'll sign you up, shall I?

Here's 10-year-old Morten.

Act 1:http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ek/Enemyofthepeople_Morten(age10)_1.mp3

I was unsure if Petra was pronounced PEE-tra or PEH-tra, so I included two alternate recordings of the line "You must be dreadfully wicked Petra"

Act 4: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ek/Enemyofthepeople_Morten(age10)_4.mp3

Your reading was excellent and clear, Lauren, but there are a couple of things to fix. Your "act 4" file actually contains the lines for act 5; can you reupload it under the file name "enemyofthepeople_morten_5.mp3" (the uploader sometimes doesn't like capitals and symbols - Morten Kiil's files use the file name "enemyofthepeople_mortenkiil_#.mp3" so you needn't worry about overriding his files.) Can you also record your voice credit in the form "Morten, their son, age 10, read by [your name]." You can put this at the beginning of your act 4 recording. Thanks!
