Well then, next week I'll resume my accent studies and commence recording Henry's mother. (She doesn't appear in Act 1, btw.)

I have it done but i'm not sure how to get it on here. I'm just used to sending via e-mail. Suggestions? Please? Thank you.

Oooh, you could test out the explanation in my wiki efforts here:
http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/HowToSendYourRecording
and tell me whether it's clear or confusing. That'd be Great!

Or you could wait for a Kinder Gentler volunteer than mean me to come along and make it plain and easy for you with a few words. :)

I think Anita's wiki covers all the options pretty comprehensively.

However, I like to be told one easy way to get me started and then, when I gain confidence I can try others.

Can I suggest:

Go to http://www.yousendit.com/ which tells you how to send your file and then send it to your own email address - this will generate an address which you can then post to anyone who is interested (i.e the relevant thread on Librivox)

Ooh - and don't forget this is a special project and on the whole, we'd prefer WAV files if you can!

Just so you know, I do have the conclusion in progress, and am just trying to find an hour to edit the darn thing. But it will come soon. :)

Thank you C, I suspect it might be a day or two before we're ready for it! :)

I wonder ... do you suppose this might be a good candidate for the March Madness complete-a-thon effort at LibriVox? Do you think we might get the remaining bits of dialogue (alex, yours and mine are the biggest chunks still missing) and then a batch of editors ... ? We could do it, couldn't we?

It's pretty unlikely I'll have much time for recording this month or April as I have to write, print, fold, and deliver anything up to 100,000 leaflets a week.

Could we concentrate on getting Act I edited so we know what we're aiming for?

Yes -- Act I is a great idea!

Let's put the fire up to low simmer and see if Act 1 can come in by the end of March or early in April.

In the spirit of the complete-a-thon, let's give this lower priority than projects that can make it all the way to the catalogue by month's end.

I'll PM for the few outstanding bits needed for Act 1.

Is my section technically done? And if so, can I get it marked? :D Thanks.
