Wasn't sure how "buscais" is pronounced. Is it "boo-sc-ice" or "boo-sc-eye-eec" or "boo-scay-eec"?
Arnieh,
I believe it is pretty close to "boo-sc-ice."

Joiz

Masa San, will you teach me to read and pronounce Japanese? I've got a book on learning Japanese but haven't really looked at.
"彼はさまざまな人生の苦労を味わった。"
What does this mean?
Is this transliteration correct:
"Kare wa samazamana jinsei no kurou o ajiwatta."
I can probably learn to read and pronounce it if it is written like it is above. Understanding pictograms will be much harder. I think anyone can learn something if they put their mind to it.
Much better. Everything sounds perfect but I think I can hear some kind of background noise, probably made by moving the microphone, at 0:41, 0:59, 1:18, and in the last 5 seconds.
I hope I am not being to harsh. I am new and I am just trying to follow the Guide for Proof-listening.

Good luck,

Thanks for the feedback, yes I can hear some feint sounds at those points in the recording. However I don't think it is at the level where it is distracting. It is not my mic your hearing, its the scroll wheel on my mouse as I am paging through the text. It is pretty much in all of my recordings, but I'm not sure there's much I can do about it. My mic is built into my laptop.

Oh... I see... probably it was distracting for me because I was listening it with the volume all the way up.

At LibriVox there are a few Japanese and also a few, who understand Japanese.
When you have a question, please post at Off-Topic.
Somebody will answer to your question.
Section 15 only has this one, very small mispronunciation, and it should be PL-OK once it's edited. At 0:43 the line read: "Iam tum cum ausus es unus Italorum". 'Unus' sounds like "Unas" there.
