Ernst Pattynama wrote:Dear Algy: if still open I'd like to read the First Murderer please. Thank you.
Good luck with this Scottish play...
Hi Ernst

The First Murderer has been claimed by Martin. I have put you down for Angus and the Second Murderer.

Cheers

I can MC this - it's nice to let people have another go at Macbeth , though it is a bit unLibriVoxy to precast it - it is usual for things to be done in the open forum so everyone has a chance - particularly for something as popular as this.

Back with the MW soon

Thank you, Anne.

We will be using the following text:
http://www.shakespeare-online.com/plays/macbethscenes.html

Regarding the songs ("Come Away" in Act 3 Scene 5 and "Black Spirits" in Act 4 Scene 1) we will not be including them. The main reason is that each song contains lines sung by characters who appear in Middleton's play but not in Macbeth.

The three apparitions in Act 4 Scene 1 are to be read by the same reader.

Cheers

Well, shall I start then?

With apologies to every Scot, living and dead, for the accent! :P

If you won't mind me teaching my grandmother to suck eggs: we need to move over to Dramatic Works, and annise needs noting in the OP as the MC. :D

It's hard to finsh the MW off when people ring up - and I always leave new projects here for a couple of days so people can see what new projects are underway.

Thanks Jason

PL OK - without equivocation

I wonder if the following is the most popular line in Shakespeare after: "First, let's kill all the lawyers."

it provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance:

Cheers

There are three different cries of "murder!" at the end, use whichever you prefer!
