Lynne, your are all PL OK!

TLuke:
Chapter 10 and 11 are PL OK!

Chapter 9 is too loud. Please reduce the amplification by -4.
Chapter 12 is also too loud. Please reduce the amplification by -7.

Not sure how to reduce them.... When I did 12 by -7.0 on amplification, the waves looked way small....

What am I missing here? Using Audacity.

Hi TLuke,

I use MP3 gain to check the amplification. @89 db is the target.
Here is a link that has MP3 gain downloads and the checker. You can run your files through it to get an idea of how loud they are.

Hi TLuke,

I'm not sure what happened, but there is no audio on these two files now. I will use the first two and adjust them. Okay? So don't do anything more with them.
The mp3 gain is just to check the db level. You should make your amplification changes in Audacity. I don't know if that is what went awry.
It is really strange.

I adjusted 12 in audacity and exported it again, then uploaded... not sure... perhaps there are new server issues??

It was something on my end. There was a problem with my Audacity. They were fine when you uploaded them. The amplification looks good now. Thanks!
