Music - What are you listening to?
Oooh, Piotr, I like the Therion! I used to dance to this out clubbing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZQ0BsNi24A
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
My last trip to the record shop led me to ask (as usual) what they were playing. Somehow the odd combo of songs in the Fabric Rejected Mix by Justice in a 45 minute block kept me interested for some time.
Otherwise, my music interests in the general variety are enough to choke the thread. Goes from Gay (18)90's "pop" music to (1990s?) rivethead darkwave. Too many interests!
Other times I might put some rain, ocean waves, or instrumental new age in the background while I'm editing. Really keeps me from gritting my teeth!

The Phantom of the Opera 25th anniversary DVD soundtrack.
You can call me JJ or JoJo: either is fine.
Jojo was a man who thought he was a loner. But he knew it wouldn't last... "Get Back," The Beatles

Arvo Pärt, among many others. His "I am the True Vine" is quite arresting...

Philip Glass has a new opera (UK Premiere in June 2013) The Perfect American - a 'factional' account of the last years of Walt Disney.
I have tickets booked for the opening night and can't wait!
At the moment I am listening to his opera "Appomattox".

As some of you might know, I went to my first Orchestral workshop last Friday (an entire day of playing until my fingers swell, my wrists freeze and my back aches) and it was the most fun experience ever! (Next to LV, of course!) We played Symphony 1 in C Major by Mily Balakirev. We are the first orchestra in North Wales to play this piece ever, and we are all under 18. Here is a link to it being played on youtube by an orchestra in Russia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vq4MRDEgNI If you listen through it with headphones, and your eyes closed, you almost come close to the sensation of being completely surrounded by music. Completely emerged in this lesser-know beauty. Multiply that sensation by 10, and you get what I felt on that orchestra day. I can't wait (the concert is the day before Christmas eve!)

A Level exams from 4th May to 30th June. I am around, just not as often. If I forget or miss anything, drop me a PM and I'll be on it like a wasp on honey!

I've been listening to him while I read (visually) at times.
By the way, all the stuff on freemusicarchive.org offers free downloads under Creative Commons and other licenses. So no worries...
