COMPLETE: Mother Goose in Prose by L. Frank Baum - CL/ce
I am having some major issues with noise in my recording, is there anyone that can help me with some noise reduction? So far I haven't been able to do anything to remove noise without making the recording sound worse. Someone please help!

You may get more response if you posted in the help wanted thread.

therefore, depends on unreasonable people." George Bernard Shaw

Specifically, the Listeners/Editors Wanted area. Title your post with something like "Editor WANTED: Noise Removal." This should attract people fairly quickly.

Proofing Ch. 19 (Humpty Dumpty)
At 6:33:
Audio = "they came to a high stone wall, which had sp... it seemed to extend"
Text = "they came to a high stone wall, which had sharp spikes upon its top. It seemed to extend"
At 8:44:
Audio = "horses dashed by, and Humpty... fast as he could for the grass."
Text = "horses dashed by, and Humpty, greatly alarmed, ran as fast as he could for the grass."
Fine otherwise.

22 is done, and is uploading to my server. I've added the link in the database, but give it a few minutes before trying to listen.

Cool beans!! That means that there's 3 things to listen to, and then we'll be done!
Westwinds: I need a summary for this to put into the catalog. It can come from Wikipedia (if they've got one), or you can write one - please note that the summary will also be given to the public domain. (And let me know where it's from, or if you're writing it.)
-Catharine, who is thinking this set of stories will make great gifts for her 3- and 4-year-old nephew and niece

..Intro for catalog - a rearranged regurgitation of a part of the intro to the book.
Mother Goose in Prose
By L. Frank Baum
Whether Mother Goose was a real person or a myth, the songs that are attributed to her name are what we remember from our childhood. Some of these nursery rhymes are complete tales in themselves.
There are others which are mere suggestions, leaving the imagination to weave in the details of
the story. Many of the rhymes’ origins even at the time of this books writing, could be traced back decades or centuries. L Frank Baum who also wrote the Land of Oz stories, in 1897 while living in Chicago, collected the rhymes and created short stories around them. These stories added context and understanding for children who are drawn to the familiar melodies.
