May I read "How they Broke Away to Go to the Rootabaga Country" by Carl Sandburg? This will be my first reading after my short poem that was recommended.
I can be listed as Raybrite with the initials kc if that is acceptable.
If I need to change anything please let me know.
I would like to use Chapter 06 if that is still available.
Thank you,
Ken :)

Hi!

Can I record The Ape Sun Wu Kung? It's one of the Chinese stories (and I'm Chinese, so I'll be able to pronounce the names).
It's one of my favourites, coz my dad used to read it to me when I was young :)
Let me know!

Cheers

No, thank you. You can read this for the other children's lit project currently running if you like. I have had to put a stop to people asking only for stories from Carl Sandburg and the other popular sources on this project.

I do need one story each from:
Norway
Brazil
Wales
India
Romania

Hi there:

I'll be happy to do the Norway story entry (Section 6). I looked at the suggested text link and have chosen "The Lad Who Went To The North Wind" from the recommended book: East of the Sun and West of The Moon.

Thanks,
Mike Nelson

I had a post here but it was being answered while I was typing.
It gets rather testing when you are half way around the world. I am awake and you are sleeping. Then it changes to the other way around.
Now I must wait to see how it comes out.
Thanks for your patience with me.
Ken :)

Hi,

I'm a little confused (being new and all) about which stories you are looking for. I see in section 5 that as of today you have the countries Brazil, India, and Wales available.
When I click on the link to the Guttenberg files under Brazil, for example, and then choose HTML, I see many short stories.

In your post you say that we may only read two stories. Am I correct in understanding that this means that I should choose any two of those short stories in the book of stories from Brazil (for example)?

Is the project then a small selection of two stories from each of these books as opposed to the entire collection of stories from each country?

Thanks,
Lily

Something is not right here. Yesterday some of the chapters had been completed and PL'd. Today they all show that PLs are needed. Did something mess up?
Ken :)
BTW I just listened to Chaper9 and it is okay.
