you can easily see the peaks when you open the file in your recording program (are you using audacity?). i recommend amplifying as much as you can without clipping - audacity suggests a maximum value - and if this isnt enough, you can use the leveller to get the quieter parts up a little more.
i also strongly recommend checking the little box at view > show clipping in audacity, which will mark clipping in red. great tool

07-12 re-upped. Ran them thru Leveller and then what Amplify suggested, and removed any resulting clips.

sections 6 and 9 are still at 84 db. sorry for being so picky about this, but i know my own mp3 player only allows so and so high a volume and i frequently listen in trains and busses. the right volume is quite important to be able to hear correctly. would you mind giving these two sections another shot?
