Todd - I think you want to post this information to the new projects launch pad. That will get people interested in helping out. People looking for new stuff to do go there.
You could even just put up the project and see who all signs up.
Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan - ce
I put a note in the Dramatic Works Suggestion forum. I'm not going to put the work into preparing a Launch Pad posting until I get some hints of PD music help. I have two other offerings to get ready to BC that I know will be able to go forward - no music issues - so I will prepare and post them first while people ponder my stalled Trial state.MikeZane wrote:Todd - I think you want to post this information to the new projects launch pad. I have had many second or third thoughts and am NOT going to do a full singing version of Gilbert and Sullivan Trial by Jury. At least not now.
Too hard, concerns over PD music, and many many other things to do instead.
For example, I have found a children's book version of The Story of the Mikado by Gilbert himself that I will put up shortly.
Sorry, Todd

TOTALLY understandable. I can't imagine tackling a G&S piece like this one.
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

Just popping by to say I love this project so much. Reading through 70-some pages of discussion I almost can't believe we actually finished it!
You guys are incredible!
